Our Goal and Mission
The Indianapolis BBQ scene is thriving, and we are proud to be a growing part of it. While we employ a “test kitchen” mentality, we pledge to never stray far from our core mission of making Really Good BBQ (RGB!).
To put it simply, we want to be a valued and integral part of Broad Ripple Village, as well as the Indianapolis community at large. We refer to it as being “Community Collaborative”.

In my top 3 favorite restaurants in Indianapolis! BBQ is superb. The pulled pork nachos are out of this world good. I haven’t had anything I don’t like… and I’ve been my fair share of times. 😉
Ok, #1… Banana pudding. As a bonus, Centerpoint Brewing has a tap room in the back of the restaurant, and you can sit, have a great beer, and eat some wonderful food from 317. The place is large, and often has entertainment, so stop on by!
One of the best BBQ places in Indy!! So many great items for me to eat with a gluten allergy. All the meats are gluten free and tons of the sides are gluten free. One of the only places that has parking in Broad Ripple. Services is quick and on top of taking care of you! We have done a few catering orders as well… makes for a quick easy meal for large or small events! They have a taproom in the back, so you can sit inside with A/C or sit outside. Deviled Eggs – so good and gluten free without the bacon sauce. Prime Beef Brisket – my favorite meat they serve!! Hands down best in town.
I attended a birthday party yesterday that was catered by 317. The food was wonderful. The young man than set everything up was so nice and did a great job getting everything set up quickly. Everything tasted so good. And the leftovers today are great again. I’m going to have to come into the restaurant soon for more. And also try the carryout. Thank you!
I am a huge brisket fan and am on my quest to find the best brisket in Indiana. I can say confidently that 317 BBQ is in my top 5. The brisket was tender and the portion was perfect. I also got the Mac and cheese and it was tasty. I think the best deal is the family meals. We plan to do that next time we go! Our server was friendly and very attentive. I can’t wait to go back!
True authentic Texas brisket, NO sauce added or needed. Some of the best dry smoked wings I’ve had. Slightly sweet. Great for dipping Smoked corn-cob best side. Staff excellent. Manager interacts with guests. Great experience.
